Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale...

...Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale Real ale. I miss it quite a lot. Grass too. I feel a strange yearning to roll around in a field like a horse. And you people, obviously.

All is well here, as usual. Busy teaching, attending spacheships, going to the pub, eating hearty breakfasts and so on. I have located a new flat, a bit further away from work but in a nice area and reasonably cheap. And next door to another of the teachers. And with nice views. Apparently it is amazing when it rains. Perfect for me, then. I move in next week and will be staying for at least 3 months. Exciting times. The other major event of next week is the arrival of Elizabeth after a week or so of what seems like swilling wine and larking about on beaches (from what I can see so far). No surprises there then.

Last weeks main discovery was Choripan (spelling?) which is basically chorizo and bread, smothered in some sort of juice and is a post-pub delight. I have a nose for pig-based fodder and fortunately La Paz is brimming with it. Hurrah. What else....mmmm. I made the mistake of drinking Bock, which is a repulsive 7% beer which brings about severe hangovers. A lesson learned there. There´s been a shuffle of the teaching schedule which means I have new classes in the evening and afternoon which should be interesting although I need to do a bit of grammar revision of my own otherwise we will have the old "Why is it like that, teacher?" "Um...because it is" scenario. They are higher levels, you see. The students.

So, that´s it. As humdrum as we have all come to expect although I suppose it is better than me writing about losing a leg in a chainsaw accident or something. Well, better for me, anyway. Right, I must go before I drown in this drivel.
